Abstract：With the increasing development of China’s opening to the world, more and more English learners are needed with high requirement. Listening is an acoustic processing of speech. Thus, listening comprehension is an essential skill for learning and communication. Through the study of some past exam paper of TEM-8, the author found that using the discourse features in the listening materials, like discourse structure, cohesive device can help students quickly and accurately grasp the internal logic of the listening material and the main idea. This study aims at exploring the methods of the textual cohesion in increasing the scores of TEM-8 listening comprehension.
The author puts forward some corresponding ways and strategies in order to facilitate listening comprehension, for example, to interpret discourse connectives, world knowledge and context in a discourse by using coherence knowledge and relevance knowledge and so on.

摘要：随着中国进一步的对外开放，对专业英语人员的需求越来越多，要求也越来越高。听是对语言进行听觉处理并为正确反馈提供原材料的过程，因此听力理解能力在外语学习和使用方面具有至关重要的地位。作者通过对英语专业 TEM-8 真题语料的研究，发现利用专八听力的语篇特点，如结构层次，衔接手段等方式，能帮助学生快速准确把握听力材料的内在逻辑与中心思想。本文试从语篇衔接理论的角度研究提高英语专业学生在 TEM-8 听力理解中成绩的方法。
笔者通过分析影响学生语篇听力理解的主要因素提出相应的对策,用连贯分析法和关联分析法来解释话语联系语、世界知识和语境在语篇理解中的作用等等。
