Abstract:English vocabulary is the basis of learning English well for junior high school students. And English vocabulary is so large and its meaning is so complicated, thus, it’s an important and difficult point to learn English. How to learn English vocabulary has always been a significant subject for academic research at home and abroad. Traditional English vocabulary teaching has all kinds of disadvantages, and it’s not good for learning efficiency and unable to meet the needs of modern education. However, the situational teaching can create various situations, which is emotional, lively, particular and visualizing. It also can construct a good teaching situation and vivid language situation so that it can improve learning efficiency for students and promote successful practice of teaching and learning. In this paper, it researches into the main approaches of the situational teaching in English vocabulary teaching of junior high school by means of questionnaires and data studies.

摘 要:初中英语词汇是初中生学习英语的基础,英语词汇量大,词义复杂,是英语学习的重难点之一。如何学习词汇历来是国内外学术界研究的重要课题。传统的英语词汇教学存在着各种弊端,学习效果不明显,已经不能适应现代的教育的需要了。然而,情景教学法能够创设多种情景,引入或创设一定感情色彩的,以生动、具体、形象为主体的场景,营造良好的教学气氛和生动的语言环境,从而提高学生的学习效率,促成成功的教与学的双边实践活动的。本文结合调查问卷法和文献研究法,探讨了运用情景教学法进行初中英语词汇教学的主要途径。
