Abstract ：Gone with the Wind , written by Margaret Michel as her only novel, was published in 1936. It is not only a successful commercial fiction, but also a popular classic of the world. Gone with the Wind is so popular that it broke sales records, and won the Pulitzer Prize in 1937.In fact, Gone with the Wind contains feminism tendencies. Especially in Scarlett, a heroine of the image is very worthy of study and reflection. This article employs the feminist literary critical theory, and explores Gone with the Wind in the feminist angle of view. Proceeding from analysis of the personality and love of Scarlett O’Hara, this article tries to explore the gender identity and female rights in the patriarchy society.This article consists of three parts: An Introduction to the Author and the Novel；The Causes of Feminism in Scarlett；The embodiment of feminism in the Scarlett’s character
Through the exploration an analysis above, this article arrives at the conclusion that we should give Scarlett a fair and impartial evaluation and women has to keep independent personality in different relationships.

摘要：美国现代女作家玛格丽特·米歇尔唯一的一部长篇小说一《飘》一出版于1936年。它是一本成功的商业小说，也是一部流行于世界的经典。《飘》是一部非常受欢迎的小说，它打破了销售记录，并于1937年获得普利策奖。事实上，《飘》包含明显的女性主义倾向。尤其文中斯嘉丽这一女主角形象的确立，是非常值得研究和深思的。本文通过对《飘》中斯嘉丽的女性性格解析，旨在揭示其性格的多重性和复杂性及其性格对其命运的影响本文运用女性主义这一文学批评理论，将女性主义思想植入《飘》中去思考，从分析斯嘉丽的性格及感情入手，进而探索她在男权制社会下的性别身份和女性权利，本文包括三个部分：作品作家介绍，斯嘉丽女性性格的起源以及不同时期斯嘉丽的性格表现。通过以上的论述和分析，对斯嘉丽其人做出公平公正的评价，并结合实际，帮助我们对现在女性的思维方式和生活理念等方面有更为客观地认识。
