Abstract: Chinese food culture is broad and profound, which makes up an important part of Chinese civilization. In the process of promoting China’s food culture, translation of the recipe has played a positive role. Lots of experts and scholars have studied and discussed Chinese recipe translation from many aspects in recent years. In this paper, through collecting many materials and much information provided by different translation scholars, the author analyses and summarizes the history and current situation of Chinese recipe translation, its characteristics and its typical translation methods so as to provide some ideas and references for the development of Chinese recipe translation.

摘要:中华饮食文化博大精深,是华夏文明的重要组成部分。中餐菜谱的翻译对传播中国饮食文化起着积极的推动作用。近些年来,许多专家学者对菜名翻译进行了多方面的研究和探讨。综合各家论点,本文对菜名翻译研究的历史和现状、菜名翻译的特点和文化特征以及典型的翻译方法进行了分析和归纳,希望为菜名翻译的进一步发展提供一些思路和借鉴。
