Abstract: The problems of the traditional pronunciation class for English majors become more and more obvious, so many scholars have been searching for the solutions. This study aims to find convincing examples that are in agreement with the findings of the previous researches concerning pronunciation teaching and learning so as to emphasize the importance of involving cooperative strategies in a pronunciation class. The content of this study mainly includes the theoretical supports of cooperative learning and the advantages of the application of cooperative strategies in the pronunciation class for English majors. Also this essay investigates the situations and problems of the present pronunciation class at college. Some methods of employing cooperative strategies in a pronunciation class as well as the forms of evaluation are suggested in the last part of the study.

摘要:英语专业传统语音课问题日益显现,专家学者纷纷寻找解决办法。本文分析了当下英语专业语音教学的弊端以及合作学习的理论基础及其优势,并对其具体实施过程及评价方法给出了详细的建议。旨在对以往的研究做相关补充,并强调合作策略在英语专业语音学习中应用的重要性。
