Abstract:This paper studied the history of English education in our country and the current situation of it,and analysed the cause of the vigorous development, the positive and negative effects. There are serval problems in them, just like the utilitarian phenomena in goal, weak consciousness of quality, confusion in charge and urban, rural difference’s enlargement and lacking in follow-up service.
Aiming at the above problems, the strategies, such as enhancing competence-oriented education, implementing the industry permit system, establishing commercial brands and shortening the gap in the educational levels between urban and rural, help to promote the development of English education idustry.

中文摘要：本文在简要回顾英语教育在我国的发展历史，概括当今英语教育产业化的现状的基础上，得出了英语产业蓬勃发展的原因，并分析英语教育产业化对英语教育产生的正面及负面影响，指出目前存在的种种问题：教育目标唯功利化、质量意识淡薄、收费标准混乱、城乡英语水平差异拉大、后续服务滞后。针对以上问题，提出加强英语素质教育，建立市场准入制度，建立品牌等对策。这将对当今正规教育模式具有一定的启发，使英语教育产业沿着健康有序的方向发展。
