Abstract:As the number-one retailing enterprise in the world, and in 2002, 2003, 2004 Wal-Mart became the number one in Fortune 500. Today, it is the world’s largest retailer with over 1.9 million associates worldwide and more than 7,000 stores. From the perspective of commerce, Wal-Mart’s has brought about wide influence on the economy of U.S. and the world at large. The special corporate cultures bring Wal-Mart a lot of customers and profit. From then on, scholars do studies on expansions,marketing strategies,services and corporate cultures of Wal-Mart. The author will use the management rules to research staff management, customers’ services, and self-owned brands of Wal-Mart. And hope that more thinking and explorations would be aroused on Chinese retailing companies from this dissertation.

摘 要:美国沃尔玛公司作为全球零售业的老大,在2002年,2003年,2004年连续荣登《财富》“全球500强”之首。至今,沃尔玛在全球范围内有超过190 万员工,及拥有的7000 多家分店,成为世界最大零售商。沃尔玛深深地影响着美国乃至全球的经济,从而为许多国家和地区的各行业带来诸多思考。独特的企业文化给沃尔玛带来大量的消费者,让其利润额持续增长。学者纷纷研究沃尔玛的扩张,营销策略,服务策略,企业文化等。本文将在前人研究的基础上研究沃尔玛的人才理念,顾客服务理念,自创品牌等方面的企业文化。希望本文对企业文化的研究结果能为中国零售业带来更多思考与探索。
