Abstract:Jane Eyre is one of the masterpieces of Charlotte Bronte. It is Charlotte Bronte’s first novel and it is also a famous work in the history of English literature. Jane Eyre describes the story of heroine Jane Eyre who is against social pressure by way of rebellion and independence and Jane Eyre represents the women in the 19th century who pursuit freedom and equality. Jane Eyre lives in an unjust environment, in the process of Jane Eyre’s growth, she is always looking forward to equality, freedom and love. During the whole development of Jane Eyre’s love, the purport of the novel is shown more clearly. Jane Eyre pursuits freedom and equal love and her love reflects her rebellion and women consciousness. Jane Eyre has provided a new woman image to today’s women. Through Jane Eyre’s standpoint of love, we can understand that people in pursuit of love should have freedom, dignity and equality. Jane Eyre’s spirit has not only purified our spirit of evil thoughts, but also given us inspirations as to how we deal with our love and our life.

摘 要:《简·爱》是夏洛蒂·勃朗特的第一部长篇小说。它也是世界文学历史上一部著名作品。《简·爱》描述了一个反抗社会压力,充满反叛、充满爱和独立精神的女性形象。反映了19世纪英国女性的追求自由、平等权利的理想。女主人公简·爱在一个不公平的环境中成长，在成长过程中她向往平等、自由和爱。文章主旨被主人公的与众不同的爱情观展露得淋漓尽致。简·爱追求自由、平等的爱情，在爱情中展现了坚强自尊的性格特点以及她的反叛思想和女性意识。简·爱为今天的妇女塑造了一个十分崭新的女性形象。简·爱的爱情观让我们明白，人在追求爱情的过程中，也要有自由、尊严、平等，不被荣华富贵所诱惑。《简·爱》净化了我们的心灵，同时也给了我们对于生活和爱情的启发。
