Abstract: The thesis explores positive transfer of Chinese on acquisition of English on the side of pronunciation. Similarities between final, initial, tone and syllable in Chinese and vowel, consonant, stress and syllable in English are analyzed through a comparative study. When English learners comprehend the similarities, they are able to fully utilize the positive transfer of Chinese and try not to be disturbed by negative transfer of Chinese so that English pronunciation learning can be more efficient.

摘要：本文从语音的层面研究汉语对英语的正迁移作用。比较了汉语语音的韵母、声母、重音、音节和英语语音的元音、辅音、重音、音节两者的相似之处。英语学习者在了解两者相似之处后，能更充分地利用汉语的正迁移作用，尽量避免汉语对英语语音的负迁移干扰，以便于进行有效的英语语音学习。
