Abstract:The most important reason for Jane Eyre’s success is that, it creates a female character who has rebellious spirit and dares to fight for freedom and equality. With its beauty both mentally and morally, this novel attracts millions of readers. Because of that, many people called it the model of female literature. Thereupon, Charlotte Bronte has been researched by people as a writer with feminist consciousness for hundreds of years. In this article, i choose the features of female literature' in Jane Eyre as the topic so as to have a better understanding about the connotation and realistic significance of this book, at the same time, to have further acquaintance of other female literatures in that period of time. Jane Eyre and the heroin Jane Eyre are not only of great significance to the development of English literature and world’s literature, but also have very positive influence to women’s mental healthy and self-improvement. In a manner of speaking, Jane Eyre is a momentous milestone in the history of female literature.

摘要:《简·爱》这部作品最为成功的地方在于它塑造了一个敢于反抗、敢于争取自由和平等地位的女性形象，它以精神上和道德上的美感力量吸引了千千万万的读者，被许多人称为女性文学的范本。作者夏洛蒂·勃朗特也作为具有自觉女性意识的作家而被研究，是文学史上一道亮丽的风景。本文选取《简·爱》与女性文学的特征作为课题，旨在让读者更好地理解这部作品的内涵和精神、现实意义，也对同时期女性文学作品及其特色有着更进一步的了解。
《简·爱》和它的女主人公简·爱不仅对英国文学和世界文学的发展具有重要意义，而且对女性的健康成长与自我完善也产生了积极深远的影响，可以说是女性文学史上一个重要的里程碑。
