Abstract:It is very significant to foster the college students’ self-identity by understanding and investigating the college students’ reasons and ways of gaining English names, penetrating into the college students’ feelings and attitudes of learning English.
At present, English is used widely as the international language throughout the world. It is an important aspect of understanding and concerning the college students’ emotion in the learning of foreign language by researching their ways of gaining English names. It is helpful to the English teaching of our country, and it also has a great significance to foster the students’ cross-cultural consciousness, promote the communications between different cultures, and help the college students’ construct the self-identity.

摘要:姓名是每个人身份或认同的集中体现。了解和调查大学生获取英语名字的原因和方式,深入探索当代大学生学习英语的情感态度,对培养大学生自我认同建构有很重要的意义。
当今世界,英语作为国际性的语言在全世界广泛使用,研究大学生英语名字的获取是了解和关注大学生外语学习中情感态度的一个重要方面。这方面的研究有助于我国的英语教学,对培养学生跨文化意识,促进跨文化交流及帮助当代大学生自我认同建构及发展有重要意义。
