Abstract: This thesis studies Heathcliff’s distorted humanity by analyzing the influences of the society and family environment on Heathcliff and with the help of researching the changes of his emotion. Heathcliff’s tragic life is the revealment and criticism of the frightful society and worldly prejudice at that time .The changes of his personality and the distortion of his humanity illustrate the harmful effects of social hierarchy and prejudice at that time.

摘要：本文旨在通过分析《呼啸山庄》一书的当时社会时代背景及作品中家庭环境对于主人公希斯克里夫的影响，同时以他一生的感情变化为辅助，研究主人公希斯克里夫扭曲的人性。希斯克里夫的悲剧人生就是对当时丑恶社会，世俗偏见的揭露与批判，而他性格的演变，人性的扭曲也就表明了当时社会等级制度与偏见对人的影响与伤害。
