Abstract: More and more teachers have started to focus their attention on the application of cooperative learning in English teaching. It is agreed to be an important learning method which is advocated in the curriculum reform of China. Due to these, this paper is to contribute to the introduction of the theory guiding cooperative learning, as well as some aspects relevant to the study, falling into the background, definition, classification of the cooperative learning. In the paper, the author also illustrates how the cooperative writing can be applied in the senior high school classroom. By the means of comparing the two different teaching modes, the study suggests that efficient use of cooperative learning in writing teaching could facilitate students’ writing better than traditional one.

摘要:越来越多的教师注重合作学习在英语教学中的运用。人们一致认为合作学习是中国课程改革提倡的一个重要的学习方法。本文注重介绍合作学习在高中英语写作教学中的应用。在文章中,作者阐述了合作学习的背景、定义、类型和方式。同时作者描述了当前高中英语写作教学的状况,并通过对传统教学与合作学习运用于英语写作课程中的案例对比,得出合作学习更有利于提高学生英语写作的水平。
