Abstract:In order to explore positive teaching strategies and teaching measures which can promote and maintain students’ good English learning motivation, the researcher conducts the investigation to Grade 2 students from No.2 Middle School in Mengzi. The goal of this research is to investigate and analysis what types of motivation Grade 2 students from No.2 Middle School in Mengzi have and improve their interest in learning English. I is also expected to be helpful for teachers to promote the effectiveness of their English teaching. The Questionnaire used in this study is based on Dai Liangang (戴连刚, 2008). Students’ English learning attitudes, the types of learning motivation, learning motivation intensity, learning attribution are included to investigate in this questionnaire.

中文摘要:为了探索积极的教学策略和教学措施以促进和维持初中学生良好的英语学习动机,研究者展开了对蒙自市第二中学初二年级学生的调查。此研究的目标是调查和分析初二年级学生的英语学习动机类型以促进其英语学习兴趣,同时以促进教师英语教学的有效性。本研究所采用的问卷调查表源于戴连刚(2008),调查答卷的内容包括英语学习态度,学习动机类型,学习动机强度和学习归因。
