Abstract: Business contract plays an important role in international economic activities, and accurate translation of business contract is the premise of successful business cooperation and negotiation. Many studies have been devoted to the translation of business contracts. In this article, the author tries to employ Nida’s functiona1 equiva1ence theory to illustrate how to translate commercial contract from the levels of syntax and vocabulary of English, takes the differences of stylistic features between English and Chinese business contracts into full consideration, and uses the principles of Nida’s Three-Priority Principle making translation more accurate and coherent.

摘要：国际商务合同在国际经济活动中起着重要作用，如何准确地翻译合同则是成功进行商务合作与谈判的前提。本文拟从功能对等的角度，结合句法、词汇等层面阐述如何对英文商务合同进行翻译。本文认为，国际商务合同应充分考虑中英文商务合同文体特征的异同点，遵循奈达的“三个优先”翻译准则，使译文更加准确严谨、规范通顺，符合合同翻译的尺牍规约和交际规约。
