Abstract:Maybe love is just between two persons. But marriage is not a problem which just involves the two. There are a lot of elements which will affect our marriage. In Pride and Prejudice we can learn so many things about love and marriage.
We can see parent’s influence on our love and marriage The tragedy of lydia is a example.
A very famous sentence in this novel goes as the following. “It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife” .Even when some women have not seen the man, they will fall in love with him, or with his good fortune. “
When we women are still little girls, we were taught by the example of our mothers, that a little knowledge of human weakness, justly termed cunning, softness of temper. We were told that the very important thing in our marriage is obedience.

书中有一个非常闻名的句子“凡是有财产的单身汉都需要一个太太。”其实女性又何尝不需要有财产的单身汉呢？即使他们不曾见过那个单身汉。她们也会爱上他或者是爱上他的财产。
当我们还是小女孩的时候，我们被告知要像我们的母亲学习，我们应该对人性了解甚少。对于女人来说，有好的脾气是我们的义务。没有比在婚姻中保持顺从更重要了。
