Abstract: English pronunciation teaching is an important part of English teaching. Learning English pronunciation well is not only the need of language communication activities, is also the basis of learning English well. English pronunciation teaching is not only the key to the introduction stage of English teaching, but also throughout the whole English teaching. But there are many problems in English pronunciation teaching in primary and middle school. These problems affect English teaching and students’ learning. This study analyses the problems in English pronunciation teaching by observing and researching the situation of pronunciation teaching. And this study provides some effective countermeasures for teachers to teach English pronunciation so that the problems could be solved.
