Abstract
During my educational practice in Junior High School, I found that English teachers in Junior High School always pay more attention to students knowledge memorizing rather than the real application,especially in English grammar. The traditional grammar translation method is still widely used in English grammar teaching. The whole process of foreign language teaching is out of the touch of real language environment, so it has no practical meaning. On the contrary, situational approach provides adequate examples and activates the language knowledge through designing some circumstances and specific authentic occasions and associate authenticity. Because of the limitation of time and space, I did two case studies to study Situational Approach applied in real class. And the use of Situational Approach, not only help students to exchange of their opinion of grammar teaching and create a more harmony learning atmosphere, but also help students to develop their characteristic, cultivate divergent thinking, and help them understanding and using the language material more thoroughly….
