Abstract
In recent years, cultural awareness in language teaching has raised increasingly widespread concern in the field of education. Foreign language teaching should not only attach importance to the improvement of students' language skills, but also to the cultivation of their cultural awareness; attention should be paid to the introduction of western culture and the strengthening of Chinese cultural infiltration as well. This dissertation is mainly written based on the relationship between language and culture to reveal the importance of Chinese culture teaching in English classes in primary school. Through the study of the status quo of the cultural infiltration in English classes in primary school, the author put forward suggestions for Chinese culture introduction from three aspects.
