Abstract
This dissertation aims to find out how the learning motivation can affect primary school students’ English learning. First, it studies the significance of studying learning motivation. Next, it elaborates on the classification of motivation. Then, a questionnaire is made to look into which motivation can play the most significant role in the English studies of pupils in primary school. Finally, it concludes that the encouragement and stimulus form teachers and parents could be the primary motivation for pupils.
