Abstract
This thesis is a study on the analysis of Scarlett’s special character in Gone with the Wind. Through analyzing Scarlett’s multiple characters from both merits and demerits and the reasons for the formation of her character, it reveals Scarlett’s unique personality charm. The thesis also has a comprehensive study on Scarlett’s three marriages, discussing the influence of her attitude towards life and marriage on the readers. The aim is to help the contemporary women establish a proper attitude towards love and marriage.
