Abstract

 

With the arrival of Big Data, it has changed people's way of living and learning. Traditional learning mode gradually cannot meet the personalized needs of the individual. Students not only simply rely on the teacher's teaching to obtain the knowledge, but also through the Internet to acquire a new, cutting-edge scientific and cultural knowledge. Therefore, the online learning model has become more and more popular. SPOC as a very popular online learning model is also increasingly favored by foreign colleges and universities. There are some successful cases. In this paper, we will take the Big Data as the background and take the SPOC as the main object of study. Then we take the English learning model as an example, through the comparative analysis among SPOC, traditional learning mode and the MOOC to find the advantages of SPOC, analyzing the necessity of its application, and find the innovative mode of learning English.
