Abstract: Teenagers are at a critical juncture of life, their world views, values set, development of self awareness are particularly important for the future development of young people. Based on the era of Lolita, the thesis focuses on youth problems in modern society and then explores and thinks about the deep social roots of these problems. In this novel, Vladimir Nabokov presents a malformation of love that is not recognized by public. Malformation of love is the focus of debate at home and abroad, among which the reason of this tragedy is highly controversial. In this thesis, the author incorporate both Vladimir Nabokov himself and the creative background of the novel, based on three sectors of self-consciousness, self-awareness, self-experience and self-adjustment to analyze heroine Lolita. By exploring the corrupted social condition and the internal factors about reconstruction of self-consciousness to guide readers start thinking about the deeper roots through the phenomenon of Lolita.
