Abstract: Since the ancient times there have been a lot of researches on the meaning of life at home and abroad. And different scholars have different views on it .This paper tends to, through the analysis of Ecclesiastes, discover the preacher how to express his view about the meaning of life, and what is the guiding role for the individual in life, and the effect of the Christian thought on the nowadays people. At the same time , figuring out what kind of impact Ecclesiastes can have on the society. Combining the classics with reality and guide people to better explore the meaning of life.
