ABSTRACT
The purpose of this paper is to show the appeal of non-linear narration that Hosseini employed in And the Mountains Echoed in the light of Bortolussi and Dixon’s theory of Psychonarratology. Text experiments are conducted to prove my hypothetical reader construction. The results are in agreement with the hypothesis that non-linear narration is a distinctive feature of And the Mountains Echoed and it is that which touches readers deep inside.
