Abstract: This study aims at investigating the application of cooperative learning in Secondary School English teaching. Based on four points of theoretical foundation, the research explores the application and effects of cooperative learning in Secondary School English teaching. It also analyzes the four key factors which can promote effectiveness in cooperative learning in Secondary School English teaching and accelerate the development of it.
