Abstract: This study aims to investigate the application of schema theory in comprehension and memorization training of interpretation. The present paper mainly introduces the schema theory and discusses the main difficulties in comprehension and memorization, then illustrate the application of schema theory in interpretation. The results show that using the theory scientifically can help to speed up information, avoid ambiguity and predict the following part in the process of listening comprehension and speed up the memory and improve the ability of memory in the memorizing process. The paper concludes that students should accumulate enough schemas in their daily training in order to do interpretation successfully.
