Abstract:With the deepening of the international globalization, English business contract plays a significant role in the world economy. The paper aims at studying business contracts linguistic features and translation principles, and further drafting and translating business contracts. This paper mainly adopts the method of literature research. Based on theory of Mo Zaishu about Lexical Features of Business contract which is to be exerted in several cases of contract linguistic features, and theory Practice of Translation from Nida, which introduces translation methods.
The paper concludes that the availability of linguistic features and translation principles can be somewhat improved by adapting to target social world and conforming to target linguistic convention.
