Abstract
The previous scholars have researched the translation of wine culture from the perspective of Foreignization and Domestication, Three Beauties Principles and Skopos Theory. Few scholars study the wine culture from the perspective of intertextuality. This thesis starts from intertextuality, combining the translator’s role, meaning of text, and intercultural intertextuality to analyze the translation of wine culture. This thesis provides a new perspective to study wine culture and raises some strategies for wine culture in Chinese ancient literature. The aim of thesis is to help more westerners know about Chinese wine culture and promote communication between Chinese and Western wine culture.
