摘要:《红河新闻》是红河电视台一套（HHTV1）的一栏时政新闻栏目，红河电视台设立于红河州州府所在地蒙自市，《红河新闻》是红河电视台的一档时政新闻，是红河电视台的强势新闻节目，栏目自从开设以来，始终以高度的政治责任感和使命感，发挥党和政府的喉舌作用，构建起地方政府与当地群众间的桥梁，栏目自开播以来，受到当地政府和群众的一致好评。但是，一方面，面对新形势、新要求，如何完成州委、州政府的宣传工作任务：另一方面，如何加强与州内13县市百姓群众的联系，真正构建起政府与群众间的桥梁。面对竞争激烈的形势，《红河新闻》如何在众多栏目中立足，创新栏目，做出具有地方特色的时政新闻栏目成为了《红河新闻》面临的新挑战。

从中央电视台的《新闻联播》、云南电视台的《云南新闻联播》、红河电视台的《红河新闻》，都属于时政新闻，不过其服务的范围和受众范围不一样，《新闻联播》面向全国及国外，《云南新闻联播》主要面向全省，《红河新闻》主要面对州内13县市群众。由于都是时政类新闻，作为地方电视台的时政新闻，由于版栏目时间相对较短，缺乏一定的经验，再有由于受时政新闻很多规则、要求等的限制，时政新闻难免会存在一定的弊端，尤其是地方时政新闻。
