摘要：夏丏尊先生是我国杰出的文学家、翻译家，更是一位真正的教育家。他从事语文教育研究工作长达四十余年，建立了自己独特的语文教育思想体系。他的语文教育思想不仅有传统的继承以及先进思想的引入，更结合了我国语文教育的实际，因而丰厚而深邃，至今闪耀光芒。他多次在自己的著作中阐释了自己的阅读观，其关于阅读教育的思想对现在的语文教育仍有指导性作用。

Abstract：Xia Mianzun was a famous publisher, a translator and an educationalist as well. He was engaged in the Chinese education research for more than 40 years,in Chinese education scope, he formed his own educational system.His Chinese teaching thought was not only inherited the traditional and the introduction of advanced ideas,but also combined with Chinese education in our country's reality. Thus,his thought is lighted up with flashed of wit and profound.In his own writings,he illustrates the concept of reading .His ideas about the reading education still has the role of guiding Chinese education .

夏丏尊先生的语文教育观对于今天的学生而言可能过于理想化。在现代社会，学生们的学业是非常繁重的，因而他们可能没有那么多的时间去阅读夏先生所提出的那么多书籍。再者，现代人的浮躁不安和各种诱惑也使得现在的人无法静下心来阅读书籍。因为我们需要的大多信息都可以通过网络获得，并不需要向前人一样去一本本的翻书。然而这种做法虽然是一种捷径，却并不是一种追根溯源的方法，我们要知其然也要知其所以然。所以我们应该将夏丏尊先生关于阅读方面的思想作为一座高山，不断向上攀登。
