摘要：在聆听众多的翻唱歌手演绎的这首歌曲中，我认为《在水一方》这首歌曲的传唱以及它的经典之处是有价值研究的。首先是它的原唱的争议性，很多人以为《在水一方》的原唱是邓丽君或者是江蕾，然而这首歌却是琼瑶写给高凌风的歌曲，但在经过邓丽君的翻唱之后，邓丽君当之无愧成为原唱，因为她的唱功当仁不让。其二是继邓丽君之后众多的翻唱者，他们对《在水一方》这首歌曲的理解不同，时代不同，也演绎着不同风格的《在水一方》，笔者通过他们的唱法以及邓丽君在演绎这首歌曲进行着对比，来阐述什么样的唱法才能成为其经典。在结语中，笔者从个人的角度上阐述了在演绎《在水一方》这首歌曲需要具备的感情，呼吸以及歌唱的方法，总结出经典的歌曲不仅需要完美的唱功，同时时代的背景作用也是功不可没的。
