摘要：随着社会的进步，科学技术的发展，人们的生活水平越来越高。全民健身的意识也逐步提高。作为我国传统体育项目的乒乓球运动则是大众健身中必不可少的一项。在现实生活中缺少陪练和同伴是制约乒乓球运动发展的主要因素，为了解决没球友没陪练的情况乒乓球发球机就应运而生，乒乓球发球机是很多球馆和球友家庭的必备娱乐和训练工具，发球机可发各种性质的球，既可用于娱乐健身，又适合于专业训练，性价比特别高。
本设计主要是设计一种纯机械式的乒乓球发球机，对乒乓球发球机的各个部件进行设计计算，并进行主要零件的校核。根据发射乒乓的要求设计变速装置，使发球机能发射不同球速的乒乓球满足不同层次和不同水平的人的需要。设计机构改变发球角度实现多方位的发球和落求点，更真实的模仿人进行发球。根据设计计算的参数对本设计进行三维建模。

通过对乒乓球发球装置的设计研究，了解乒乓球发球机的原理。熟悉并掌握了齿轮和轴承基本设计方法、电机的选择及相关的画图软件，从而可以提高对机械设备产品开发与设计的能力。通过这样的设计，可以提高创新素养，培养了自主学习的能力和坚忍不拔的毅力。通过对整个发球机的设计加深对机械系统的理解，加强对所学专业知识的掌握。巩固以学的知识，学习不知道的知识，提高自己学习能力、思考能力、实践能力。
