摘要：作为国民经济的基础层次和基本细胞，县域经济的强弱直接影响着国民经济的发展。本文通过分析县域经济发展现状和科技对县域经济的支撑作用，针对宜兴市县域经济的个案研究，指出了发展中的成功经验和存在的待改进的问题，并探索了提升我国县域科技能力的思路和方法，以促进县域经济的进一步发展。

Abstract: As the foundation of national economy level and the basic cells,the county economy strength directly influences the national economy.This thesis has analysed the present situation of the development in country region and the supporting role of science and technology in country region .The thesis take YiXing for example and find out the advantages and disadvantages in the process of development in YiXing,then explore the solutions to improve the ability of technology .Through these ways ,the economy of country region can get further development.

国内现今对县域经济发展的研究主要集中在中国县域经济发展的运行模式的构建、经济发展中的科技创新模式、经济发展中的人力资源开发模式等方面。朱志坚等认为，县域经济的竞争力在于产业的竞争力，县域经济的发展过程是产业升级的过程，而产业结构升级的主要动力在于科技进步和创新[4]。车将，廖允成指出县域经济发展的模式不再是“量”上的优势，而是“质”上的优势[5]。
本文就科技进步对县域经济发展的支撑作用，以宜兴市为特例，分析了发展现状，优势和存在的不足之处。同时本文对如何运用科技来促进县域经济发展，发挥科技的支撑作用提出了一些对策措施，具有很强的现实意义。
