摘要:博大精深的中国优秀传统文化是中华民族的灵魂，是中华民族得以立足于世界民族之林的根本，它所凝聚成的民族精神是激励和凝聚全国各族人民的重要力量。但在当今社会现实环境中，网络文化的日益盛行对优秀传统文化产生了巨大冲击，西方文化的入侵已严重动摇了优秀传统文化的根基，随着社会的转型，优秀传统文化逐渐被人们淡化甚至遗失。这些都对大学生的成长产生了许多负面影响，给高校思想政治教育带来了极大的挑战，严重威胁到中国优秀传统文化的继承与发展。通过分析新形势下优秀传统文化在高校思想政治教育中面临的主要挑战，旨在引起高校思想政治教育工作者的重视，大力加强优秀传统文化教育。
