ABSTRACT:Cultural globalization is the dissemination and exchange of various cultural elements, and is the interdependence and integration of national culture. With the continuous development, dissemination and exchange of national culture, it is becoming increasingly open, a variety of cultural elements inevitably flowing across the borders worldwide. Salsa is originated from Cuba but became very popular in Mexico, which is a very good example of integration under the trend of cultural globalization.
Salsa originated in Cuba. During the developmental process, it is integrated with other dances. Subsequently Salsa spread to some other countries and got developed and changed. And in decades, Salsa quickly got accepted and became popular around the world.
According to the trend of globalization and the local custom and cultural tradition, this paper analyzes the character of the Mexicans through the features of Salsa and it’s prevalence in Mexico, as well as the reason why Salsa got popular in Mexico quickly, and give a view of Salsa in Mexico for readers. It promotes the knowledge about Mexican and Latin-American culture and the intercultural communication with those Latin-American countries.

摘要:文化全球化就是各种文化要素在世界范围内的传播与交流,是民族文化的高度相互依存与融合。随着民族文化的不断发展、传播和交流,民族文化愈益成为开放的文化,各种文化要素不可避免地跨越国界在世界范围内流动。起源于古巴的Salsa舞就是文化全球化的一个典型实例。
Salsa舞起源于古巴。在其发展过程中又融合其他舞蹈。随后salsa在其他一些国家发展并发生了变化，几十年间，Salsa舞迅速被全世界认知并流行开来。
该论文结合全球化大趋势，以及墨西哥的风俗习惯，文化传统，通过对Salsa舞的特征及流行来分析墨西哥人的性格特征，也通过分析墨西哥人的性格来了解探究Salsa舞得以流行的原因，并感受Salsa在墨西哥的流行程度，促进对墨西哥及拉丁美洲文化的了解，及与他们的跨文化交流。
