Abstract: Harry Potter series is created by the English writer, J. K. Rowling. The first book of the series Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was published in 1997 and was immediately paid attention to by readers from all over the world. In the following ten years since then, Rowling has finished creating the other six books of the series. Harry Potter series is no doubt a miracle in the literature arena. It is colorful and substantial in contents. The story mainly refers to how The Chosen Boy, Harry Porter, saves the magic world and grows to be a great wizard. By comparing the behaviors of the so-called noble men with that of the ordinary people the thesis tends to conclude that aristocratic spirits should not be confronted to status and wealth and that an ordinary person can also be a true aristocracy only if he attains the essence of aristocratic spirits, i.e., the chivalrous performance, intense sense of responsibility, and willingness to help others,

摘要：《哈利·波特》系列是英国作家罗琳女士的作品。《哈利·波特》系列的第一部《哈利波特与魔法石》于1997年出版并且受到全世界读者的关注。之后十年间，罗琳女士出版《哈利·波特》系列中的其他六部。《哈利·波特》无疑是当代文坛的一大奇迹，其内容丰富多彩。小说主要讲述了被预言的男孩拯救魔法界并成长为一位伟大的魔法师的故事。本文通过对比所谓贵族的行为和普通人的行为从而得出结论：贵族精神不该局限于地位和财富，一个普通人，当他拥有了贵族精神的实质，比如，骑士精神，强烈的责任感以及乐于助人的品质，他就是真正的贵族。
