Abstract：With the development of China’s reform and opening-up and the expanding of international exchanges, western cultures increasingly spread to China. Some of the western festivals have become a fashion in China, which has a special and far-reaching influence on Chinese native festival culture and the young greatly. This thesis probes into the underlying reasons of western festivals' popularity in China and offer some effective corresponding countermeasures to some existing problems, and the aim of the study is to enhance readers’ intercultural sensitivity to achieve better cultural communication between China and western countries.

摘要：随着中国改革开放的发展和国际交流的深化，西方文化日益传入中国。一些西方节日在中国已经变成了一种时尚，这种时尚对中国本土的传统节日和年轻人产生了特别而深远的影响。本篇论文通过探究西方节日在中国流行的潜在原因以及针对这一原因提出了一些有效的措施，旨在强化读者的文化差异敏感度，更好地促进中西方文化交流。
