Abstract:With the development of economic globalization, English has become the most widely used language in international communication; English education plays an important role in the basic education of China. In order to give pupils a solid foundation in English, primary school teachers face a new challenge that is, how to teach English well, the key is to inspire pupils English learning motivations. As the motivation is an inner strength for promoting students’ English learning interests and a strong driving force for students to learn. Once students have a deep interest in English, they would be happy to learn and learn actively.

中文摘要:随着经济全球化，英语已经成为国际交流中使用最广泛的语言之一；英语教育是我国基础教育的重要部分。为了给小学生打好英语的基础，小学教师面临着一个全新的挑战。如何教好英语，关键在于激发小学生学习英语的动机。因为动机是推动学习的内在力量，是学生学习的强大动力，学生一旦对英语产生深厚的兴趣，他才会乐于学，主动学。
