ABSTRACT:The paper attempts to analyze the nature of Aslan in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe written by C.S Lewis. Lewis tells a story about the experience of the four children in Narnia. Although Aslan does not appear at the beginning of the novel, yet he plays an irreplaceable role in the whole story. Therefore the research on Aslan counts for much. This paper will be divided into three parts to emphasize and summarize the nature of Aslan. The first part, through the comments about Aslan made by other characters and his speech and behavior show the nature of Aslan as an all-knowing ruler. The second part, through the process of fighting with the White Witch to rescue Edmund and other Narnia members mirror the nature of Aslan as a life-preserving ruler. The third part, through protecting Edmund and other children demonstrate the nature of Aslan of justice and love.

摘要:本论文主要关注并分析C.S. 刘易斯的小说《狮子，女巫和橱柜》中狮子亚斯兰的本性。刘易斯在这部小说中描述了四个小孩在纳尼亚王国的经历，而狮子亚斯兰在小说中起着不可替代的作用。亚斯兰没有在一开始就出现，但他的影响贯穿全文，所以对他的研究具有重要意义。本文主要研究狮子亚斯兰的性格，总结揭示亚斯兰的本性。论文将主要分为三个部分体现亚斯兰在不同方面的性格特征。第一部分通过纳尼亚王国中其他成员对亚斯兰的评论以及亚斯兰的言语和行动体现亚斯兰通晓一切的本性。第二部分通过在与邪恶的白女巫和其追随者之间的斗争中拯救埃德蒙和其他纳尼亚成员的过程中体现亚斯兰给予生命的本性。第三部分通过对埃德蒙的保护以及跟孩子们之间的对话中体现亚斯兰的正义与仁爱。
