Abstract: With the fast pace of internationalization, the catchwords translation has become a thing not only belongs to the native country but also belongs to the whole world. So the translation of catchwords has become a matter of many professionals, which reveals the importance of this kind of matter. This paper aims to analyze the techniques and skills in translating catchwords through studying the definition, sources, features of catchwords and the way in which catchwords are translated. Furthermore, through the detailed analysis of catchwords quoted from The Big Bang Theory, some conclusions and inspirations will be made.

摘要：随着国际化进程的进一步加快，流行语也越洋过海。因此，流行语的翻译成了许多人研究的对象，也就凸显了它的重要性。本文通过对流行语的简单介绍—包括其定义、来源、特点以及它的一般翻译方式进行研究，并且以热播美剧《生活大爆炸》为例来简析流行语翻译的技巧和方法，旨在了解美剧中流行语的汉译以及如何达到汉译的效果。
