Abstract: This thesis aims to give modern people a chance to have a serious thinking about love by analyzing Jane’s views on love. After a brief introduction to the book and the novel, the author illustrates the topic from two angles — Jane’s views on love and their causes. It holds that Jane Eyre is a great woman with intelligence, braveness and consciousness of independence. She dares to strive for her own love and happiness. So she pursues independence, equality and self-esteem love. In order to have an overall understanding of Jane’s views on love, the author also analyzes the causes in three aspects— the social background, Jane’s life experience and her main characters. The paper concludes that Jane Eyre’s views on love may give modern women some advice for their love and marriage life.

摘要：本文分析了简爱的爱情观，旨在给当代人一个深入思考爱情是什么的机会。本文侧重于两方面——简爱的爱情观和形成原因。简爱是个伟大的女人，聪明、勇敢、独立，敢于追求自己的爱情和幸福。所以她追求真爱中的独立、平等、自尊。为了更全面的理解简爱的爱情观，本文从三个方面分析其成因——社会环境、成长背景和主要性格。文章通过对简爱爱情观和成因全面的分析，希望能给现代女性爱情和婚姻生活有指导意义。
