Abstract：Vagueness is one of the primary properties of natural language. With the development of economic globalization, the activities of international business become more frequent than ever. In business correspondence, as a kind of communicative behavior, the skill of using vague language and its pragmatic function are playing a vital important role of business success. The appropriate use of vague language will not affect the accuracy of business communication language expression, what’s more, to some extent, can make the language expression more vivid and flexible. And at the same time, the vague language will appear to be more rigorous, accurate and courteous, which will strengthen the flexibility of business operation and engender a positive effect, so as to achieve a fine communication environment with each other, and achieve business purpose.

摘要：模糊性是人类语言的基本属性之一。随着经济全球化的发展，国际商务活动日益频繁。在商务通信中，作为一种使用频率较高的交际行为，模糊语的使用技巧及其语用功能对商务能否成功扮演着很重要的角色。模糊语言的灵活运用,不但不会影响商务交际用语的准确性，在某种程度上还可以使语言的表达更灵活生动。同时模糊语会显得更严谨，准确、礼貌得体，增强商务运作的灵活性，生积极的效果,以便和对方交流时有一个良好的语境,以达到商务目的。
