Abstract:The affective factor is an important part of English teaching and learning. Affective learning with its peculiarity has made great differences in foreign language learning. English teaching in recent years has taken the necessity of affective factors into consideration during the process of teaching. Unfortunately, affective learning has been little attached importance till today. This paper, which is based on the sixty students in two classes in No.1 Middle School of Jingdong, Pu’er, Yunnan, mainly discusses the various affective factors and causes in the activities of English teaching, and how to promote English teaching with these affective factors. And then puts forward measures for cultivating positive affective factors and reducing negative affective factors. It emphasizes the importance of affective factors in English teaching activities.

中文摘要:情感因素是影响英语教学和学习的一个重要方面,它以其独特的形式在外语学习中起到了举足轻重的作用。目前的英语教学越来越重视情感因素对语言学习的影响,但是今天外语教学中仍然存在着重认知而轻情感的现象。本文以普洱市景东一中两个班60名学生的情感问卷为依托,主要讨论了在英语教学活动中学生产生的各种情感因素和这些情感因素产生的原因,以及怎样利用这些情感因素来促进英语教学,提出了培养积极的情感因素,降低消极的情感因素的策略,强调了情感因素在英语教学活动中的重要性。
