ABSTRACT:Pedagogical practice is an necessary measure of training students’ teaching skills, bringing up professional emotion, practicing their ability to engaged in education and teaching independently, speeding their changes in the role from the student to the teacher, and also a major way of fully checking and improving the educational level of a university.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation of English majors’ pedagogical practice. The result of the survey shows that English pre-service students had good attitude and preparation for pedagogical practice, and gained good reputation among the students.. Whereas, they still need to improve in teaching gestures, professional quality, teaching skills and classroom management. According to the analysis of journal data, we can see that the pre-service teachers have reaped a lot in their teaching skill and their emotion and attitude to the role of teacher also have changed and sublimed.

中文摘要:教育实习是训练教师职业技能,培养职业情感,锻炼独立从事教育教学能力,促成从学生到教师角色转换,全面检查和改进高等学校教育教学水平的重要途径。
本研究的目的是调查XX学院英语专业学生的教育实习的现状本研究采用问卷调查、课堂观察和日志分析进行研究,结果表明英语专业实习生对待实习有良好的态度和准备,并得到学生的喜欢和好评。但在教态、专业素质、教学技能、课堂管理方面还有待提高。根据日志数据的分析,我们发现他们的教学技能和方法也有了一定的提升,对待教师职业的态度和情感也有了转变和升华。
