Abstract
This paper is based on the current theories as well as the research fruits available worldwide. With various research like questionnaires, reviews, and theoretical research applied, Constructivism-based English teaching model for Middle School Students, as the object of this paper, is analyzed. Firstly, the research introduces the basic concept of Constructivism along with its history, main points and research status. Secondly, the teaching of English words, phrase, sentences and passages is analyzed in details respectively. When analyzing, activities based on Constructivism to help students are given, tested and further looked into. Finally, the potential problems behind the Constructivism-based English teaching model are analyzed and possible solutions to them are provided.
