Abstract
Chinglish refers to the nonstandard English expressions with Chinese characteristics due to the negative influence of Chinese culture and ways of thinking in the progress of using English. This dissertation tries to analyze the causes of Chinglish from the aspect of cultural and cognition differences between China and Western countries to get the attention of the learners and avoid the negative influence of Chinglish so as to learn idiomatic English.
