Abstract

 

As we all know, English reading is not only an important method to acquire some opinions for students, but also an indispensable part of their professional knowledge. However, in our country, English reading learning in college students is still not satisfactory as to most of them who still adopt the traditional English reading learning model, which leads to the effect of reading learning getting low. In view of the current issues existing in college English reading learning, how to effectively open up a new English reading learning model, seek effective reading methods to improve English reading learning efficiency is particularly important. Fortunately, with the development of information technology in the field of education, computer network assist English reading has become the focus of attention. Nowadays we are in the "Internet plus" era, which takes advantage of exploring a new learning model  improving the learning efficiency of English reading.  Therefore, this study explores English reading learning based on the "Internet plus" era. This paper is divided into four chapters, from the different aspects to describe the effect of English reading learning under the background of "Internet plus" era. This paper takes two experimental classes of English majors as an example to discuss some of the advantages of Internet resources for English reading learning.  Comparison between traditional English reading learning model and modern English reading learning model explores the advantages of reading learning model of English majors under “Internet plus”era. The paper is adopted the method of literature and experiment research and comparison method. Through combing the existing research results, this study provides relevant support and reference in terms of views, ideas and theoretical. At the same time, in the process of writing papers mainly adopt the method of experimental contrast between traditional English reading learning model and the 

new English reading learning model based on "Internet plus" concept. Taking two English major classes as the experimental class, one class takes the traditional English reading model to practice English reading, the other class is taken the new English reading learning model based on "Internet plus". After a period of time, compared the result and enrich relevant conclusions to achieve the purpose of this study.
