Abstract:Toni Morrison, the winner of Nobel Prize of Literature at 1993, who is also the first black female got this prize in America. She has published 10 novels and some literary criticism. Her works mainly talks about the lives of blacks to show the racial tensions, the plots are conceived, cause the reader to think deeply. She published her first novel the Bluest Eye at 1970, the work described the lives of blacks under the influence of white people, showing the contradictions between blacks and whites. The essay is about the explanation of alienated values (aesthetic standard, maternal love, paternal love)and the causes of alienation: the influence of white culture; the influence of black community; the loss of self-identification and so on. The conclusion of the purpose of the thesis and its sense. Ask more people to protect their culture, and pay attention to people’s spiritual world to prevent the alienation, then social can develop harmoniously.
