Abstract
Huaian, once as the intersection of the north and south pier, the birthplace of Huaiyang dishes, is the hometown of Premier Zhou Enlai. It has unique folk tradition and customs folkway. More and more tourists around the world have been attracted by its beautiful and natural scenery and rich humanistic characteristics. Because of cultural differences, people in different countries have different language thinking habits and different language structure, which pose a great challenge to the translation of scenic spots. This thesis, taking the translation of Huaian tourist attractions as an example, tries to have a survey on the present translation of scenic spots from cultural perspective. Through the survey, it can be found that mistranslation and improper translation are the most common existing problems. As the society is developing very rapidly, tourism culture attracts more and more tourists, so the demands of tourist attraction translation become higher than before. Some translation strategies and suggestions are offered to promote the translation of scenic spots from cultural perspective so as to make a contribution to the tourism development in Huaian.
